liked the look of witteveen up front but as he did not finish the game i went for lockwood for a good overall display.expected more from falkirkbut was glad they were so poor especially when we went down to ten men |
| A good all-round performance by the team, everyone went out from the kick off with one thing in mind, to win. The difference showed with Witteveen up front allowing Griffiths to do his own thing, Witteveen maybe a couple of games short of fitness but put in a good shift all the same. A real booster was this win and was pleased for Chis/Doddsy, the players are there, and a few more games like this will do there confidence no harm. |

| Excellent just excellent, not one bad performance from anybody against Falkirk. Even thought GC got the subbies spot on tae. Coco and Higgy chased everything and tried to defend from the front which was a lost cause. Thought O'Donnell and Riley were superb in the midfield and Adams did what he had to do. Good to see Harkins back on left midfield and Sparky thrived with having the new lad up front along side him. At the back the whole back four played well, Paton was looking more like his old self and should keep irvine out on that form and lockwood defended, used the ball and supported harkinks very well. Both Weston and mcKeown were immense in centre defence, McKeown now showing what a player he is being injury free, he reminds me of Bobby Glennie and imho he should now be carrying the captains armband and let Harkins concentrate on playing football. |

Craig McKeown for me, sitting in the Derry and the way he went about his business and the way he runs reminds me o Bobby Glennie, he should have the armband as well imho. |

| A close call between Lockwood and Riley for me, so I will give my vote to Kris Riley |

| Let me know what happened cause I wasn't there! |

| Davie, my "distraction" comment wasn't one to be taken seriously - last season I made it quite clear after C+D were appointed, that I didn't think it was the right choice. Roll on league reconstruction to a Premier League of 16/18 teams -it's the only way we will have of getting back into the top flight. |

| Sorry Neil but on recent displays relegation looking more likely. The report in the Sun today contained a paragraph about the game with the rest of the column being speculation about the departure of Chis and the arrival of Calderwood, think you might need to ask your poll question again! Be thankful your in Canada! |

It's not even the end of August and that's Dundee knocked out of 2 Cups from lower league teams. At least, apart from the Scottish Cup, there should be no further distractions on our quest for winning the League!!!!!! C+D GTF |

| First half was abysmal with few clear cut chances. Second half started with more purpose with the intoduction of O'Donnell. Brechin reduced to 10 men after harsh second booking. rather than take the initiative we then conceded two very poorly defended goals in a three minute spell, sandwiched inbetween the goals strong claims for a Dee penalty waved away. Intro of Riley and Paton saw an immediate improvement and all of a sudden a bit of urgency in our play, two well taken Griffiths goals saw us level and with minutes to go the award of a penalty should have seen us home. Leigh however shot high and wide. Extra time I could only see one winner, Brechin visibly tiring surely we would finish them off. One glorious stramash that Arthur Montford would have been proud of then all of a sudden we lost all our tempo again. A late straight red for Craig Forsyth again seemed harsh and it was on to penalties. 1 out of 4 nuff said. Fair play to Brechin, on the night we can have no complaints they deserved to progress. On the other hand we are in deep doo! A defeat to Falkirk on Saturday and it could be a long winter of discontent for those in dark blue. I think it's time to stop being afraid to lose a game and go out with more intent. Young Leigh managed to have an altercation with a Brechin youngster after the final whistle and then proceed to lash out at both Geddes and Dodds as they pulled him away. |

| Big Rab for me. Saved us at the end of the first half |

| A mouse a perspex tube and a ladys va................................ AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH |

| Although we only picked up 1 point I'll settle with that, Ross County are a very hard team to break down at the best of times, we held our own defensive wise, more so in the second half with Weston on for Adams, Lockwood made a good debut game and hopefully that is our back four sorted out, still could do with a centre forward but can see an improvement happening. Think we must mind that there is a lot of teams in the same situ as ourselves and give Chis n Doddsy time to get there team together, never heard any one mention the name Lockwood prior to him signing and who knows there may be another name next week !! |
| Give my MOM to Big Rab this week, a double save that could so easily have turned the match around |
| Disappointing match with distinct lack of goalmouth action and not much fluent play from either side. moments to remember; an excellent Harkins freekick that rattled the crossbar, one excellent save from County keeper and an excellent double save from Rab. decent debut by Lockwood at left back. Other than that not much happened. |

Better than Tuesday but still have a problem giving the forwards some good ball and not just thump it from 50yds away. The young lad from Celtic had a good first game along with the ex Morton guy. |

Agreed Roberto, overall very poor, looks like we have gone backwards from last season. Any team who wants to win this league can not afford to lose any more than 5 games. well thats one down only four more lives left. Seems to me with Adams and now Grant in midfield Chis is trying to make us hard to beat but for the second week in a row there is just no creativity so just can't see where any goals are going to come from. Although I don't think he is the saviour but I can't understand why Kerr can't get a run out, Mchale failed to cut out the cross for their goal and nobody tracked their left back, personally I would have Kerr in that team before McHale, Grant and just don't get me started on O'Donnell, FFS our Player of the year for last season would have done a better job in midfield than him. Rant over I'm away to sit in a dark corner!!!!! |

Thought McKeown played well, specially with a new partner alongside him, won all his headers and was solid, a threat at set pieces and unlucky not to score just before half time |
| A left-back and a centre-forward would be a fine addition to the squad before we go on any further and try to get a settled team playing a settled formation instead of chopping and changing week in week out. |
| Although playing out of his position still manages to give his all. My vote goes to Mcmenamin |
| McMenamin for me. Gave 100% for the full 90. |

Hi Neil
I am undecided at the moment. At the POY dinner, I told them both that I would give them until christmas, before I made my decision.
I don't like the fact that they set up 4-5-1 away from home, when a more aggresive 4-4-2 or a 3-5-2 woul get more chance of a win away from home. At Dens we are ok, but this league will be won away from home, this season.
UNDECIDED at the moment |

There was a bus full of DAB's on the way to Paisley, stopped on the hard shoulder of the M8, with a few of them outside, releining themselves. Either
1: Arabs are full of pish
or
2: They are a bunch of W@nkers !!! |

| Match thoughts here please. |

| Who gets the vote today ? |
| Well then, it is easy to criticise when you are 3500 miles away, but I still stand by my statement that C+D should not have been given the opportunity to take DFC to the next level. What about the guys that go to watch them week in and week out - Do you still have faith in the management teamÉ |
