AN EVENING OF LIVE COMEDY - May 22nd, 2010.

The Fife Dark Blues are pleased to announce, in conjunction with event sponsors The Clansman Bar, Leslie & Glenrothes Strollers '96 Colts, an evening of live comedy, on Saturday, May 22nd, 2010, at The Royal British Legion, Glenrothes.

We shall be showcasing 4 of the best acts on the comedy circuit, details of who shall appear at the end of next week. The acts have a national profile, and are experienced in larger venues, such as Jongleurs, The Comedy Store and The Stand. A fantastic night is in prospect.

FIFE DARK BLUE BONUS BALL WINNER

Congratulations go to February's Bonus Ball winner, Wendy Reid, who correctly selected bonus ball number 47, which was draw from the National Lottery draw on Saturday, February 27th, 2010. Wendy scoops a whopping jackpot prize of £8.50 for her £1 entry !!!!!!

Fife Dark Blue members can enter the monthly draw, by getting in touch with either Ross Barrie, or treasurer, Gordon Barrie, and selecting their lucky bonus ball number.

AWAY DAY ACROSS THE TAY 2

Although Saturday's match, against Raith Rovers was cancelled, the pre match function which was arranged, which was headlined by The Boys From The Central Dark Blues, went ahead. considering that the game was off, there was a fantastic turnout of around 75 people. Once again, the boys had the hall rocking, with their 90 minutes set.

We hope to have video footage of the event available to view, soon.

Dundee fans from Edinburgh, Stirling, Dundee & Fife were all in attendance. A big thank you, to you all from the FDB's.

TRAVEL OFFER FOR FIFE DARK BLUE MEMBERS

As you know, we now have a great chance of getting to Hampden, on the weekend of April 10-11, 2010. All we have to first is see off Raith Rovers at Dens, and we will be on our way. I know that this maybe jumping the gun a bit, but plans have to be made.

We are offering a travel package to Fife Dark Blue members, which is as follows:

For all members who travel to the Ross County match in Dingwall on March 27th, on the Fife Dark Blue 25 seater bus, paying the fare of £15 for adults, or £7.50 for juniors, they will be issued with a voucher that will entitle them to fare of £5 for adults or £3.50 for kids, for the Scottish Cup semis, should we get there.

The cost of the fares to Hampden will be £12 & £7 to members who do not have a voucher. This voucher will only be valid for the semi-final, and will be issued on the Dingwall bus.

Names are now being taken for the Dingwall trip, and seats will be sold on a first come, first served basis to members. Please contact Ross, through the usual channels, to book your seat.

SUPPORTERS CLUB TIES - AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER

Due to a request by a couple of our members, we will have specially designed supporters club ties available for purchase at our next meeting. The tie will cost no more than £10, but might be a bit cheaper, once we finally get the shipping costs. The design is a diagonal thick bands of blue & red, with a thinner white band between the thick bands. The Fife Dark Blue logo is embroidered on the bottom blue panel.

The logo is shown on the image to the left.

The idea was suggested that on the hospitality day, against the Rovers, and also the Player of the Year dinner, that we all turn up wearing our club tie.

FIFE DARK BLUES 50/50 BONUS BALL LOTTERY

The Fife Dark Blues are starting a 50/50 bonus ball lottery, that is only open to FIFE DARK BLUE MEMBERS !!!!!

Ball's can be bought at a price of £1 per draw, paid in advance. The prize is 50% of what we take as entry money. The winner will be the person who has bought the bonus ball that is drawn on the last Saturday of every month. If no person has bought the drawn ball, the prize is rolled over to the next months draw.

Payment for the first draw can be made at the next monthly meeting, but payment for future draws will have to be made in advance. All the draw dates, and numbers, are on the link.

WORLD CUP 50-50

PREDICTOR LEAGUE

Scotland might not have made the World Cup, but you can still have an vested interest in the competition by entering The Fife Dark Blues World Cup 50/50 Predictor League. The prize for the winner is a Prize Pot of 50% of the competitions takings. Entry to the competition is £5, so if we get 100 entrants, the prize to the winner is £250, in Cash !!!!!!!
