bus is required and the earlier I know, the better price I get.
Partick Thistle is one of the best away days of the season and we are sure to have a fantastic support, so it should be a great day out, make sure you are part of it. C'mon the Dee. 2010/11 Predictor League Entries now being taken |

As the season nears its start, the FDB's are once again
doing their 50/50 Predictor League over the
course of season 2010/11. We will be using the same
format as the World Cup Predictor League, & last
season's weekly Predictor League.Entry fee is £10, per team (you can enter as many teams as you like), for the season, and their will be 3 cash prizes this season. The prize money will be shared into a 70% / 20% / 10% split, between 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

Travel For Next Season's Away Games The Fife Dark Blues have arranged 8 buses for away days this season. We shall be taking buses to Partick Thistle, Ross County, QoS and Morton.Bookings are now being taken for the first away match of the season on August 14th to Partick Thistle, at the cost of £12 & £6 for members, & £14 and £7 for non-members. Anyone wishing to book a seat to this match please contact travel co-ordinator, Peter Campbell on transport@fifedarkblues.co.uk or text him on 07766 887333. Due to the fact that the away matches are in a space of about 5 weeks, to lighten the burden of the away-day weekend costs, we are offering a package where you can pay up a 4 match package. |

Its been a busy day !!!! The first kick of the season is still 6 weeks away, but thanks to the great efforts by Peter Campbell & Andy Lynn, things are looking good for next season. Already, we have our 8 buses booked for next season, and at the moment are working on a package that will cut the costs of travel on these trips for FDB members. Details will follow shortly. We also have 3 functions confirmed, with another minimum of 2 in the pipeline !!!!! Dates to put in you diary for these events are our separate boys & girls adult nights, on Saturday September 4th & Saturday October 9th respectively, & another comedy evening, where hopefully we shall have most of the Dundee FC squad on December 18th, 2010. If this show is anything like last months, what a great way to start the festive season !!!!! Also possibly thrown in to the mix are another 2 Away Days Over Tay on November 27th, 2010 & April 2nd, 2011. We hope to have one of these confirmed by the Monday, June21st, 2010. Fixtures Out For 2010/11 The fixtures for season 2010/11 are out, and Dundee have been handed a home tie against Queen of The South, for the first league game of the season on August 7th, 2010. There are plans afoot for at least 5 Fife Dark Blues functions this season, and details will appear as & when details are available. |

Its all Over !!!!!!!! The Fife Dark Blues World Cup Predictor League has been concluded, and
our congratulations His cheque for the prize of £137.50 is in the post, as you read this. I am sure that it will come in handy for his holiday's !!!!! Thanks to everyone who participated. A league with the final positions can be viewed HERE. |

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUE FOR RENEWAL Membership forms are now available to download & complete. Once again we are offering a selection of options for members to join. We have our PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP , which will include a days hospitality at Dens with return transport, free transport to the first Partick Thistle away match of the season & an entry into the FDB 2010/11 predictor league, with the winner getting a 2011/12 season ticket.

JIM LAUCHLAN FDB PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2009/10  Jim Lauchlan was awarded the Fife Dark Blue Player of the
Year 2009/10 at the DSA Dinner on Sunday evening, His award was given after
getting most Man of the Match awards over the season, on the FDB weekly poll
on their forum.
Leigh Griffiths was awarded the inaugural FDB Young Player of the Year Award Our congratulations and wishes go to both player's. |

FDB's SPONSOR LOCAL U-15 FOOTBALL TEAM
The Fife Dark Blues are delighted to announce that they are the sponsors of
a local Under 15 team, for season 2010/11. The tie up between the FDB's
& and Glenrothes Strollers '96 Colts will initially be for 1 year.
 The sponsorship will see the team wearing the Argentina style strip, with the FDB logo on the back, and wording on the front.We hope that this deal shows the FDB commitment towards helping youth development football in Fife. Head coach of the Strollers, Craig McEwen, has given an interview, on FDB radio, which highlights the difficulties of keeping a youth team running. Listen to the full interview Here !!!!! |

PREDICTOR LEAGUE WINNER After 39 weeks of trials & tribulations, the weekly Fife Dark Blue Predictor league came to an end on Saturday, with the first prize being shared between David Mitchell & Colin Reid. The full finishing table is available to VIEW HERE. Your prize will be available as soon as next years season tickets are on sale. It was a close run thing, with anyone from the top 5 in with a chance of winning, on the last day of the season. The FDB's hope that all participants enjoyed the season and will be back for more next season.
It will cost £5 per entry to enter, and profits made from this summer event will go towards Youth Development Football.
